We want to thank all the volunteers who made this event possible. On March 25, 2022, we lost a long time community leader, mentor and friend, as Michael Luke O'Gara passed away at the age of 82. We are heartbroken, and send our sincere condolences to his family; his beloved wife, Barbara who also served on the SVANC board, his sons, Michael, Sean, & Matt and his grandchildren, Michael, Liam & Katie.

The redistricting process now underway could remove your home from your present Councilmember's district, and change who the Councilmembers are for SVANC. Electoral districts at every level of government are reconfigured every ten years to reflect changes in population as determined by the U.S. Census. The City's Redistricting Commission is tasked with dividing the City into 15 districts of roughly equal population, while considering other factors, such as geographical boundaries and communities of interest.
